Domestic support

If you love your home, it can be very frustrating and embarrassing if you find yourself in the position that you can no longer keep things as neat and tidy as you’d like to. It’s a lovely feeling when your home is fresh and clean. Your washing and ironing piles are up to date and your shopping list is all crossed off.

The care staff at Forest Care can help with domestic tasks such as dusting, vacuuming and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens. They can handle your washing and ironing and change your bed linen.

Our staff will happily take you out food shopping or even go for you if you don’t want to go out. They will prepare your meals to ensure you are getting what you need to stay healthy

Accessing the community

As well as home care we offer our services to help people to access their local community.

This might involve enabling people to attend a college course, luncheon clubs, going shopping, visiting the doctor, hospital appointments or helping them take advantage of local amenities such as libraries, cinemas, parks, churches and sports centres.

Our staff work individually with clients to make sure the support we offer is tailored exactly to meet their needs. Without them Forest Care would not have achieved their OUTSTANDING rating from the Care Quality Commission.

It can be a lonely existence looking at the four walls day in and day out, people can soon become isolated and feel that their quality of life is slipping away. They lose contact with friends and lose the opportunity to socialise with others. Life is for living and to have an active life is living it to the full.
