Residential & Nursing

Our Home

Crossways was originally built as a private house but has been substantially extended and was refurbished in 2016 to accommodate 27 residents requiring Nursing Care.

The Home comprises 23 single bedrooms and 2 shared rooms, some of which have en-suite facilities.

There is a large lounge that has an adjacent quiet area and a second sitting room/dining room for residents, their families and friends to enjoy.

We use the smaller lounge for group interactive activities and it has direct access to our large, attractive, well maintained and established garden with a gazebo and a covered patio for our residents to enjoy when the sun is shining. We often have afternoon tea in the gardens.

The gardens to the rear of Crossways overlook open countryside and there is ample car parking in the grounds.

Our Team

The Matron, Mr Marton Manases, has the day to day responsibility for the running of the Home. Marton is a Registered General Nurse and is registered with the Care Quality Commission as the Manager of Crossways.

Marton is supported by a team of skilled nurses and care staff who have an on-going programme of training and development which enables them to plan and deliver the appropriate care to meet the individual needs of our residents.

The home has excellent cleaning, laundry, maintenance and gardening ancillary staff who ensure the home is always well presented and provides a safe and comfortable environment.

Our chefs know good food makes happy people. So we ensure that each resident’s dietary preferences and specific nutritional needs are catered for, and a selection of home-prepared and home-cooked meals are served to the highest standard throughout the day.

Please feel free to visit the home at any time or telephone to make an appointment to meet Marton and his team for a guided tour and discussion about Crossways.
