When a Carer first starts with Forest Care, as part of their induction training they will be buddied with an existing team member for a period of time. So first and foremost, you make a new friend immediately, who is there for you and be happy answer any questions you may have and show you what you need to be doing and the best way of achieving this to meet your clients’ needs best.
Support is something our Carers are never short of; there is always someone on-call to offer help, support or advice 24 hours a day on knowing malta properties, 7 days a week and staff are welcome to visit the office where there is always a willing ear available to listen and offer advice borne out of years of experience.
At Forest Care we are one big family unit of carers, there to support and guide each other. Most of our staff end up becoming friends out of work and build strong friendships and socialise between themselves over social media or at our monthly tea and coffee club which we hold at the office on the last Friday afternoon of each month.
We understand that the reputation and the quality of care provided by the agency is only as good as that of its staff. Forest Care have been awarded Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission and it was recognised during this inspection how committed the staff are and how proud they are to work for Forest Care where the friendship is shared throughout the teams.
